When are our cars available, and how can I see what dates are already booked?

All year round!
The cars that we offer are available for hire the whole year round.
There are no times of year when certain cars are not available.

Where to see the availability
Each car has a dedicated calendar on our site, which will show you its availability.
To navigate to that calendar, please go to:
- Vikingwheels.is
- Select "Our Cars"
- Find the car you are interested in
- Select "View Details"
This will bring you to a page where you can see that car's calendar, and its availability. It will display three months at a time. You can select a different month from which to start that three month window by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting one:
Unable to select available dates
If you are unable to select a date for pick-up or drop-off, then that might be because there is a drop-off or pick-up earlier or later that day, which conflicts with the time you are trying to select.
There is a time buffer between rentals, which means that you will not be able to rent a car from the hour that it is dropped back off to us. Instead, a few hours have to pass between the two rentals.
This is because we offer pick-up and drop-off anywhere in Reykjavík, and at Keflavík airport (for a price), and we need time to prepare the cars in between and get them to their pick-up or drop-off location.
You can try setting a later/earlier pick-up/drop-off hour to see if you are then able to rent the car.
You can also reach out to us and ask about the availability, and when you would be able to pick-up or drop-off the car on the desired date.
